Cornell Pad

The Cornell Note-Taking system can be used during lessons, when reviewing material after class and as an effective revision aid. It is an internationally recognised and widely used method that supports active learning and deeper understanding.

This structured format encourages students to remain mentally engaged by using pre assigned sections for Abbreviated Notes, Questions and Summary. These headings guide students to organise information clearly, identify key ideas and reflect on what they have learned. The layout also supports dual coding by combining written notes with diagrams, symbols or visual cues where appropriate.
